CCNM is committed to a healthy environment for staff and students
CCNM believes in equal opportunity and is committed to providing a barrier-free environment that allows all people to maintain their independence and dignity. As an organization, CCNM respects and upholds the requirements set forth under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (2005) and its associated regulations, and strives to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities in a timely and effective manner.
The following plan (PDF) outlines the actions the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine will put in place to improve opportunities for people with disabilities in accordance with the requirements communicated under the Integrated Accessibility Standards, Ontario Regulation 191/11 (AODA).
CCNM has developed a multi-year plan that describes how, over time, the organization intends to become a more accessible organization and sets forth the principles of how CCNM provides service to and otherwise interacts with people with disabilities. The plan will be posted on the company website, reviewed and updated periodically by the Accessibility Council, at a minimum once every five years, and will be provided in an accessible format upon request.
If you require an alternate format of a CCNM document, please contact Karyn Lumsden, accessibility advisor and learning strategist, at (416) 498-1255 ext. 230.
The CCNM Integrative Healthcare Centre and RSNC are located on the first floor of the building, while the International Breastfeeding Centre is located on the second floor.
CCNM welcomes feedback regarding this policy. For more information or to provide feedback, please contact Jessica Diamond, human resources generalist, at (416) 498-1255 ext. 212. For further related information, please see: Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA, 2005).
In an effort to resolve disputes equitably and expeditiously, the College has adopted a dispute resolution policy to enshrine the principles of natural justice into all College policies that involve disputes between College stakeholders.
CCNM and RSNC are fragrance-free areas. Please do not wear any product that smells strong enough to be noticed by others, such as cologne, aftershave lotion, perfume, body lotion and hair products.
All members of the CCNM community are expected to be sensitive to and respectful of other members of the community and those with whom they come into contact while representing CCNM. All forms of harassment and discrimination are prohibited.
To review additional academic and CCNM policies, please consult the academic calendar.
